THE BID WINDOW

Terms

Plain-English draft — for founder review
These are the terms the service runs on, written in plain English. They have not been reviewed by a lawyer and are not legal advice. One item, marked for review, is still to be decided.

Last updated: 24 October 2026. By using The Bid Window you agree to these terms on behalf of your business.

The service

The Bid Window provides two products about commercial roofs in Austin, Texas:

It is a business service for roofing contractors. It is not for consumers.

Trials, payment and cancellation

How you may use the data

Accuracy

The leads are estimates built from public records and licensed permit data. A roof's age is a reason to call, not a statement of its condition; only an inspection tells you that. Work done without a permit leaves no record, and public records contain errors. We work to keep the data accurate, but we provide it as it is, without a promise that any particular record is complete or correct or that any lead will become a job.

Liability

We are not liable for lost profits, lost business or indirect losses arising from the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes and ending the service

We may change these terms or the service. If a change matters, we will tell customers by email before it takes effect; continuing to use the service after that means you accept it. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
